Sweden, a destination of a different nature: The Swedish way of life with Sweden's distinctive approach to people and nature.
In Sweden, we go our own way. Our country is unique, largely because of our progressive approach and our relationship with and care for nature. This has shaped the Swedish way of life. Our long, dark and cold winters, our endlessly bright summer days, the lakes, the rivers, the deep forests, the natural areas in the centre of cities and our right of public access. This, together with our views on democracy and openness, has shaped us. In Sweden, we like to think in new and different ways and have a more conscious approach to the individual, society and the planet.

"The right of public access", or 'Allemansrätten' as we call it, gives everyone the freedom to roam and explore the beauty of Sweden. A unique right where the only thing you have to pay, is respect for nature and the animals living there.
